Rachel Maddow took half her airtime to eviscerate Ronna McDaniel as well as the brass at NBC. It may seem counterintuitive, but I’m glad McDaniel was hired. She wanted to slip back to respectability with no accountability. And she might have gotten away with it, but suddenly she has had the spotlight pointed at her all day and been excoriated hour after hour for being an enabler of fascism and authoritarianism. Obscurity just got a lot harder. Now they can fire her. #ronnamcdaniel
