One man’s awakening:

Last year, I had a life-changing experience at 90 years old. I went to space, after decades of playing an iconic science-fiction character who was exploring the universe. I thought I would experience a deep connection with the immensity around us, a deep call for endless exploration.

I was absolutely wrong. The strongest feeling, that dominated everything else by far, was the deepest grief that I had ever experienced.

With Gaetz stepping back from his AG nomination, Trump has lost his clone of Stalin’s Beria.

Beria, it is said, would offer flowers to the fathers of the underage daughters he abused upon returning them at the gates of Lubyanka (which could be anywhere, btw).

If the flowers were accepted, all good.

If refused, the resistor would be arrested…

The battles outnumber us; this is an excellent snapshot of one that’s key to the rest of them.

My feeling on the US election is this:

Kamala browbeating the undecided or calling out Trump’s various lunacies is preaching to the choir.

He can deflect all of it just by lying.

But…

If she can make America laugh—at him—he’s a dead man walking.

He’ll have no answer that won’t expose his desperation and lame-ass vapidity.

Voters love saying yes to a strong (or funny) person and no to a loser.

They’re in that kind of mood.

She needs to tap it.

You know, it occurred to me today there’s very likely a certain class of German citizen—not the government or mainstream media, I’d not go that far at this point—who from the shadows will be saying, aloud where he feels safe:

“Let the Jews hang themselves. Keep the support, funding and arms flowing, by all means! When they’ve finished with Gaza and the crime is finally exposed and recognized, they’ll know how it feels...”
