As #wordpress seems to no longer be a sensible option for hosting a small website or blog, what would be a good alternative for someone starting with such an endeavour?
Especially for someone that has no experience with #markdown and #git and the like, so static site generators like #hugo, #jekyll, or #zola are unfortunately not a good option.
Asking for a friend, as I personally know and use(d) the static site generators given above, as I am capable of working with git and markdown.
