The war on DEI is the classic war on civil rights.

Those cowardly fucks.
"Congressional Republicans are again being advised against holding in-person town halls after several instances of lawmakers being berated by attendees went viral."
If the Trump-Musk agenda is so popular, why are Republicans hiding from their constituents?
Keep fighting. Keep calling. Keep showing up. Keep causing good trouble.

Why am I ‘entitled’ to Social Security?
Because I’ve been paying into it my entire working life.
That’s how it works. -

Why are Trump and Musk's DOGE planning to lay off 7,000 IRS employees in the middle of tax season?
The richest 1% evade as much as $163 billion a year in taxes.
A defanged IRS means a tax evasion free-for-all for the ultra-rich. Connect the dots. -

Truly intelligent men don’t need to declare their genius.
The truly wealthy don’t need to flaunt their money.
The truly strong don’t need to prove their strength.
The truly honest don’t need to insist they are.But conmen?
They do all of the above. -

The threat of Musk should not be underestimated.
He needs to be gone gone gone, however it happens.A SpaceX rocket exploded in January, leading to FAA safety violation fines.
Elon Musk threatened to sue the agency. Shortly after, on inauguration day, the FAA administrator resigned. [Musk had previously publicly called for him to be fired.]
Now the FAA's commercial spaceflight office, which is responsible for licensing commercial rocket launches and ensuring public safety around them, could be next on the DOGE chopping block.
All told, when Trump was sworn into office, Musk’s six corporations were under more than 32 continuing investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies. Most of these cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the agencies that initiated them are being defanged by Musk and Trump.
Which means Musk’s corporations are worth far more because they are no longer restrained by the government. And as their major shareholder, Musk is the big winner.
See the problem here?

Our economy should be measured by how the bottom 30% are doing in the supermarket,
not how the top 1% are doing in the stock market. -

The myth that taxing the ultra-rich stifles job creation was created by the ultra-rich themselves to ensure they aren’t taxed.

Never get tired a this un...
"Years ago, anthropologist Margaret Mead was asked by a student what she considered to be the first sign of civilization in a culture. The student expected Mead to talk about fishhooks or clay pots or grinding stones.
But no.
Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a femur (thighbone) that had been broken and then healed.
Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, you die.
You cannot run from danger, get to the river for a drink or hunt for food.
You are meat for prowling beasts.
No animal survives a broken leg long enough for the bone to heal.
A broken femur that has healed is evidence that someone has taken time to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery.
Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts, Mead said."We are at our best when we serve others.
Be civilized.
