I will not include a video because I respect the privacy of the students at my daughter’s school, but OMG people I am here at the school Easter party and the kids just filked a song to the tune of The Wellerman to welcome the Spring Time and I am *dying* from the cuteness. Nathan Evans, if you are on the Fedi somewhere, I hope you see this and my thanks for bringing us that moment of joy and universal connection when we needed it during the first COVID lockdowns. We need it now, still.

I am starting to feel as bummed out reading Mastodon as I did reading Twitter. Not because the dialog here is rancorous, but because the state of the world is ....
