The controller for my trash e-bike helpfully provides a plug for attaching a headlight. Less helpfully, it outputs the entire voltage of the battery (40V) through that plug.

My office spent almost $2,000 on a pan-tilt-zoom iot camera for streaming earthquake press conferences, and it's never been used because it got infected with the Mirai botnet malware after they connected it to the internet.

I don't even see anything in the manual for how to do a factory reset so the camera can be fixed and used again.
