Removing healthcare subsidies will destroy people's lives. Medical debt in this country is the highest in the world and without health insurance families will lose their homes and more. By families I also mean you. And me. And your kids. And your parents.

My second reminder that no one needs to believe any information the Trump administration puts out, including Kash Patel’s FBI.

This administration lies constantly and always blames Democrats for everything, usually without evidence and often counter to the evidence. So I will discount all of their announcements because I have no reason to trust anything they say.

No one is getting cheap groceries. Palestine isn’t free. Everyone’s ability to hold Republicans accountable is eroding away.

Eliminating the ability of the EPA to show the harm caused by greenhouse gases is protecting the bottom line of corporations over protecting the long-term health of Americans.

More important to this country to keep one woman out of office, I guess.

There’s no way to adequately state how bad this is.

What really worries me is how pollution always hits the less well off the hardest. If you’re wealthy, you can just escape or buy something. But working people don’t have that option. They’re the ones who end up living right next to the factories, the highways, or whatever it is that’s polluting.

    This country really fucked up.

I absolutely condemn murdering people on a school campus or a street or in their homes or anywhere else. I’ve been really clear about it. Why? Because applauding it makes more of it and we don’t get to pick who gets killed. It’s not about “karma” or who deserves it. That’s not how it works. That’s not how anything works.

However, the New York Yankees having moments of silence and lowering flags to half mast for an aspiring Nazi instead of children shot within the same hour is a real choice.

There are a group of judges who are essentially standing between us and full on fascism.

This decision, as with many of them, was made by a judge appointed by a Democrat. So congratulations to those of you understood the assignment in the 90s and voted for Bill Clinton. You helped.

But of course Trump is appealing. So hope these things don’t get to SCOTUS, because a lot of voters in 2024 failed the assignment.
