My kids got me into it, but only when they are at my place and having fun (its a rainy day today), normally I don't play video games. My thing is synthesizers and DJing.
Nope, that's just silly rumors and fear mongering, Roblox is perfectly safe and fun. We don't even use the chat function we just play the games. You are more likely to run into pedos on the fedi or discord than on Roblox. Plus they only play it on my computer and I watch them play the whole time (and I sometimes join in it's fun).
The one you sent me, I did the services and registry edit and no dice this fucking computer will do what the fuck it wants regardless if I have it connected to any kind of internet hotspot le sigh...
It sucks, I guess its pointless trying to fight it. I guess it doesn't matter since I've given up on Buzz. Which still works btw but it opens, doesnt mean you're not gonna have problems mid-project.
I abandoned it because I changed, DJing and making music became everything to me and I lost all interest in all the nerdy Linux/BSD stuff. I haven't even used BSD since 2022. I do love mixxx in Linux and that is my workhorse for DJing, I may do some production on Linux with Renoise but for now music production is on Windows.
Vital audio created an AI to create presets from prompts and I tried it and only one preset from like 30 sounded good right away, but maybe had some interesting sound that are crude but can be tweaked and refined. However I think just follow YouTube tutorials and importing Serum wavetables is a better process and yields better results.
I think its time that I hang up using Jeskola Buzz as my DAW. It crashed on me a bunch last night and honestly I think Im just spinning my wheels with it and spending more time fighting with things than getting tracks finished. Im switching to Renoise full time, at least Im already familiar with tracker style DAWs so the learning curve won't be as bad.
