I wish #Linux distro "what's new" texts and reviews would separate their articles into two sections:

* One for "this is new, but found in other distros already, as <distro> picked this up by updating software everybody uses"[1]

* Another one for "everything else", e.g. the more distro specific things (installer, package management, flavours, optimizations, …)

[1] if the developers of said distro contributed a lot upstream for said software, just mention it.

I don't want to stop anyone at all from doing this, but just so it's mentioned in this thread: that if I understood things right is something that creates a lot of load on the servers and thus is something the admins don't like to much; but that is not considered a problem, unless a CI farm uses this trick.
