I don’t often eat burgers.
But when I do, it’s because I haven’t eaten a meal all day, and I’m crushing on the bartender.
Hell, I’m crushing on everyone.
Ya girl is feral.

Ok. The album is just about done. Mastering is a thing that needs to happen, and I need to pick the last song of the record. I’ve got a few options, and I’m not including everything i recorded. So it’s gonna be one.
All the options are super dark, but that’s a comfortable place for me.
This is going to be very a very good album. I'm literally so excited to share it!!!
Things to figure out for sure. But. Things are wrapping up.
It’s shot day. I don’t wanna do a shot. But I must. I must.
I did my shot. Ouch.
I am admitting that I’m doing too much. I need to slow down. I’m not doing particularly well at anything I’m currently doing. And that’s bad.
I’m in the process of putting some stuff on ice/taking breaks, and maybe stopping some things all together.
My head needs this. The shadow people are back, and that’s not good.
I've felt small the last day and a half or so.
This song makes me feel powerful.
Anyway. It's making me feel better.
Also this song of revolution
For reference, with my work being #8 for blues-punk, Iggy Pop is #2.
Not that it's a really poppin' genre, but if you search "blues punK" in the genre section of bandcamp, 51 Miles From Nowhere is the 8th result. That's insanely cool to me.
Anyway.
#8 ain't so bad if you want to check it out

Also, oh yeah, new single is still new single.
Any support and love is funneled directly into a machine that converts it into a final, finished album.
Sometimes we feel unstable. Sometimes we feel like we're going to explode. Sometimes we have exploded.
I've caused a lot of damage in relationships over the years. Mania is a beast. But also, we are powerful.
That's what this song is about.
New single - "Back Away"
Happy Halloween!
My new single, "Back Away," is exclusively available for purchase on #bandcamp until December 13th. At that time, it should be streaming and purchasable most anywhere you can find music.
I decided to release early on Bandcamp because I've had a lot of traction here on the fediverse with bandcamp sales, and I want to kind of have that exclusive start for the fediverse.
I appreciate all of you. My music is the most listened to it's ever been, and that's mostly thanks to this community. Thank you.
Anyway. Check out the new single here:
Any tips for setting up an older Mac mini as a media box? It’s the “late 2014” model. I’m going to use it for local network backup, too. But I figure I might hook it up to the TV and put movies and shows on it.
We still have #bandcampfriday for a little while longer!
SO!
A Thread?
First off, shameless self promotion time! You all know my #music posts, and while the new album is coming, I'm still recovering from surgery.
In the mean time! Check out my latest release which also happens to be a fundraiser to pay for the surgery I just had!

Also! Have you checked out the public domain album I worked with @ajroach42 on? I’m thrilled with how it turned out. I’m very happy with my recordings and with Andrew’s wonderful curated selection of songs.
Anyway. It comes with a digital zine. And a physical zine if you order a physical copy. Shipping by January 8th.

I think it’s really cool how these 100 year old songs really resonate. This is something we’re planning to do every year, and this is a phenomenal way to kick it off.
Do you have a favorite track?
