David Lynch has died at the age of 78, following a long illness.

Creator of Twin Peaks, director of the very first adaptation of Dune (1984), but also Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, and Mulholland Drive, David Lynch left his mark on the history of cinema and television.

Fritz Lang's Metropolis was released 98 years ago today.

Between this film and Woman in the Moon (1929), Lang filmed a fine chapter of sci-fi.

Carrie Fisher left us 8 years ago today, and we miss her terribly. ❤️

Pinocchio in Outer Space was released 58 years ago today.

He was 88.

People often say to me, “What a shame that this concept art isn't seen as such in the film!” Of course, concept art is just an idea, and then you have to stick to an art direction, a visual logic, a director's vision, and so on.

But Arcane (Netflix) is a plunge into a giant concept art. 🥰

Whether Concord (game, 2024) is back or not (the shooter was taken offline on September 6, but a large number of updates have been applied to the game on Steam over the past two weeks), its conceptual work is simply sublime.
