Alexander Dugin today on “Sputnik” ( “Alexander Dugin’s Escalation” program, quote from Maciej Korowaj):

“We actually began the process of rebuilding [during the war with Ukraine]….We have returned to ourselves…. A significant part of the internal objectives of the special military operation has been achieved. It is now Russia that sees itself as an independent state-civilisation, a society completely different from the West…. What has happened in our society is a victory we can be proud of… It is a historic event, our entire society is changing in the right direction.

Please note Dugin is speaking exclusively about internal goals which for himself mean transformation of #Russia, in simple words, into totalitarian society. Before the war Dugin was obsessed with “purging” and elimination of “sixth column”. These goals, I think most people agree, were largely achieved. This doesn’t tell us anything about the external or geopolitical goals of the war but I think again most people would agree, they haven’t been achieved in slightest, some of them were even achieved negatively (e.g. demilitarisation of Ukraine).

#Russia military blogger Zhivov moans about “quality of communications” that drastically dropped as result of Russian state policy to make Western communication apps unusable. He complains that videoconference on Yandex, as compared to Telegram or Google, offers much worse quality but also costs them 500 RUB per each participant per month.

He ends his moaning by a comment “who taught our leadership that we are milking cows, and a good, global product can be replaced by some state-developed crap” 🤦

The answer to Zhivov’s moronic question is left as an exercise to the readers…
