The #Biden admin & congressional leaders understood there was a balancing act — boosting #EV production w/o aiding China.
#Trump claimed that the US wouldn’t have experienced “any #inflation” had it not been for “bad #energy problems” during the #Biden admin.
False.
He appeared to be referencing the spike in gas prices that occurred after #Russia invaded #Ukraine in Feb 2022. That contributed to inflation at the time, but it was trending higher before then as a result of pent-up #demand from the #pandemic & #labor shortages.
Data centers now consume 21% of all the electricity in Ireland, more than all the homes in its cities and towns combined. Cloud providers still want more.
This drive for ever-increasing computation serves no one but the bottom lines of major tech companies. It must be stopped.

I've seen more #energy today here in support of Kamala #Harris than I've seen in weeks in support for Biden. That doesn't mean support hasn't been there. I think, and this is just my opinion, that ppl have been becoming discouraged in spite of all our efforts & support for each other to stave off the discouragement.
Indecision is a breeding ground for despair.
No matter our individual feelings for Biden & his candidacy, we needed this to happen.
