The breakdown among individual states shows each candidate leading comfortably in 1 swing state, w/the others closely contested. It is a notable shift from a Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll conducted at the start of July that showed #Trump leading #Biden overall by 2 points, & Trump leading in 5 of 7 battleground states.

Tuesday’s poll showed #KamalaHarris opening up an 11-pt lead on Trump in Michigan, a 2-pt lead in Nevada, a 2-pt lead in Arizona & a 2-pt lead in Wisconsin.

The simplest explanation for why a single word like “weird” suddenly has traction is that the #Biden White House was doing things so badly, and likely Dem voters were desperate for any kind of change. #Harris remains a blank slate, policy-wise, and until she starts to define nuts-and-bolts details, “#Trump is weird” carries popular emotional freight and shakes the moneymaker.
