All I want is a camera app that let's me add any number of shutter buttons that takes photos of different qualities, so that my "temporary" remember this later so I don't have to write it down photos don't take as much space as everybody look at this majestic cat in this mindblowing sunset photos.

Is that too much to ask!?

An option to set a self destruct time for photos taken with specific shutter buttons would also be nice, now I think of it.

In #Android 13 / #e_OS 2 T, can I somehow disable the weird stretching animation that happens when you hit the end of a website or any other box / list? Where the content of your whole screen gets stretched?

I found a way to disable *all* animations, but that looks awful as well. That stretching effect is a sin against everything that's holy including my eyes and I want it to stop.

Es ist schon bemerkenswert, dass K-9 Mail zum beliebtesten Open-Source-E-Mail-Client auf Android geworden ist - ganz ohne Telemetriedaten zu sammeln.

Offenbar funktioniert es also auch hervorragend ohne diese Datenerfassung. 🤷♂️

Can anyone suggest an opensource keyboard for Android that supports swipe/ gesture typing?
I currently use AnysoftKeyboard but it's pretty buggy, crashes a lot, the swipe is poor and it hasn't been updated for 3 years :(

Como não faço muitos posts no Mastodon, irei usar minha conta para fazer avaliações de aplicativos de código aberto.

Aplicativos de código aberto são bons para privacidade, já que você pode ver o código inteiro pra confirmar que ninguém rastreia a sua atividade, e *não contém anúncios*!

Enfim, pra baixá-los, recomendo baixar e usar o F-Droid, porém haverá uns lugares específicos para baixar alguns, mas eu explico nessas avaliações.
Qualquer dúvida eu respondo.

Also, I finally switched to Vivaldi on my android. So far it's pretty nice experience. In the past lack of extensions annoyed me a lot, but maybe I will be able to live w/o it.

Next step testing #IPv6only operation in my local network, I wanted to give #dhcp "option 108" (IPv6-only preferred) a try.

I'm running #ISC #dhcpd on my #FreeBSD router/firewall, so I looked at the manuals:

Ok, added "option option-108 00:00:00:00;" based on that, which dhcpd rejected 🤔

From finding random different examples for custom options and with some trial and error, I found I have instead to declare the option:

option v6only code 108 = integer 32;

... and then use it like this:

option v6only 0;

Ok, what's up with documentation here? 🙄

At least it works, verified on my phone running #Android 14. No #IPv4-address from my pool any more. Instead, 192.0.0.4 appeared, seems it automatically configures a #clat...
