    @VD15 @LukeAlmighty crafting in FFXIV is actually interesting and very involved - it's turn based where you have limited number turns/skillpoints in which you're trying to make progress and improve quality with your skillset, same with gathering (apart from gorilla testicles) all with random element. So much so that people make macroses that give "on average" results, i.e. you would get HQ items N% of the time, manual work would give better results.
