It's lovely to watch the birds. I have a birdbath in line of sight of the kitchen door, and I stand often watching their antics.

We have a pair of resident blackbirds, a robin and a song thrush, along with wrens, sparrows and chaffinches. These are the regulars. All trying to get their baths done at the same time.

Japanese view the idea of Wabi-Sabi as, looking for beauty in imperfection, and nothing is permanent or complete.

I am not perfect, I certainly am not permanent (Though I wish for immortality) and though I am not broken, I am not yet complete. In conclusion, looking at the evidence, I must be Wabi-Sabi.

Loving my standing desk. It has been wonderful, and I wish I had got it years ago. I will never go back now. Coaster is always there, ready for the next tea to come along. It's rare to see the coaster without a cup in this house haha.
