@Archie8 My biggest part of my collection are vinyl, followed by CD, then cassette. Vinyl will outlast the rest, but if taken care of, CD rot can be prevented, or at least slowed down by a lot.

I also rip all CDs to digital file, then move the files to new hard drives every 3 to 5 years. I still have mp3s from the mid 90s XD

@robustjumprope Well it may have just been my overthinking, cuz she called and was understanding. My mind never stops thinking, so if someone isn't responding I will assume they're upset lol

Went to a rum festival to meet up with my dad and stepmom... they had something else going on first, so I ended up there early without them.. Well I quickly found myself standing around just processing everything, and since I was around nothing but strangers... it kicked off something fierce.

Next thing you know I'm in the car heading home in flight mode. My stepmom was asking why I had the attack, but hasn't responded since I gave my answer.

So now I'm having anxiety awaiting her giving some judgment instead of understanding at some point...

ugh
