@Leroy @WBOrcutt Well, there are other substitutes for the nutrients that meat has besides artificial meat. People have been vegan well before artificial meat was a thing.

@punissuer Well, there's nothing any one person can do to bring about noticable change. That can only be done through collective action. The best thing you can do is teach other people about class consciousness and increase the number of class conscious people so real change can actually happen.

@Leroy @WBOrcutt While I do agree that veganism won't solve the climate crisis, I would say that veganism itself isn't a bad thing and is something that should be pursued by humanity. Death being a part of nature isn't an excuse to continue killing and eating animals when it's no longer a necessity for humanity to do.
