a reaction toward experimental or different art when a person says “i don’t get it, this is stupid…”
imo sometimes not understanding something is a good thing. confusion is a wonderful feeling. it’s not bad to not understand.
i wish people appreciated that about experimental games.

the craftsmanship of beautiful code is overrated. sometimes u gotta admire the complicated mind game of reading bad code that just barely works by the skin of your teeth.

pffft if you want your indie game to be a success you have to check the weather forecast, make sure the temperature is just right, make sure to give your game a cool dry environment, not too dark tho, more polygon count, bump up those textures, make sure to talk about it but not too loud, and make sure to check planetary alignments before launching… it’s really that easy. i can’t imagine why games flop. lazy devs lol.

i’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be a solodev, the misconceptions, how difficult it gets…because i’m 💯 set on starting an event that celebrates & highlights that. if we had that it would help with negative conceptions & give space for others to find eachother!
