Quite frankly, I blame Greenpeace. After all, it was their postcards of polar bears and whales that repeatedly brought my 11-year-old self to tears and, ultimately, action! You see in 1970 postcards, phone calls and door knocking were the primary ways that environmental groups had to raise funds. And those early postcards worked!

I remember the day when thought turned into action. Gathering two dollars in quarters and finding a roll of tape, I sat down and carefully taped those coins to the polar bear card. That simple childhood act changed me. Those quarters changed how I understood money, and the power of donating to a cause.

Dear rebel,

You never forget your first time, do you? It can influence how you view something for the rest of your life. And there's only, ever, one first-time, right? My first time happened over 50 years ago, but get your mind out of the gutter, I’m talking about my first donation!

On February 1st, 2023 @xrargentina @xr.caba chained themselves at the Casa Rosada (Executive Branch Building) against the appointment of Antonio Aracre, former regional CEO of Syngenta, as head of Government Cabinet Advisors.
Syngenta is one of the world's largest producers of transgenic seeds accompanied by poisons, which is known as a "technology package".

We need to open democracy with citizen participation mechanisms to plan a just transition.
