playing monk is fun when you actually do well at it

but when you press the wrong button or stop payign attention it's :blobcatNotLikeThis:

bard: press 1 for normal shot. press 2 for fast shot.
monk: so there's three forms and in each form you can do one of three attacks that have a different special effect and some of those get a second special effect when you're at flank or rear and then you have a skill that lets you do any form's attack and a skill that always gives you directional bonus and each crit gives you a stack of chakra and

man playing monk is FUN but also DIFFICULT

feels like the damage is really good when you get things right but when you don't you're just not doing anything and maybe also dying lol sorry to my healer at that last dungeon

I quite like the ironworks set for monk because it's like, an armor for someone who fights close up yes but still quite elegant

many of the other monk sets I've had were leaning far more towards looking like a brawler or a traditional martial artist and weren't nearly as refined
