I'm curious how other pedestrians feel about proposals to ban cars from turning right on red lights.

My experience has been that drivers get impatient when a pedestrian uses the crosswalk at the green light, because drivers extra super feel they should be going fast when there's a green light.

I wonder if only scrambles would actually solve the problem.

1: “Excuse me, would you like a bracelet?”

2: “They’re only five bucks.”

Me: “Thank you, but I don’t have any money on me. Good luck!”

I continue to walk. A couple blocks down the same street I hear quick feet behind me and turn around.

3: “Here is a flower. It’s free.”

Me: “Thank you! That’s very kind of you.”

She was already running back the other way when I called after her that I liked her shirt: “Normal is boring.”
