Doing a major reorganization and patch day when the new server is deployed. Expect a couple of hours downtime midnight CET this january(accurate date follows). DB and translation service will be moved to the second server, this way spikes on Sidekiq and Postgres can't impact each other in any way.

@deavmi welp there was a minor patch. Maybe its fixed now.

Waiting for the second server to be set up is like waiting for christmas eve as a child damn lol. Bad timing though, bought it a couple days before christmas so it isn't set up yet, but I was told this week it will happen so basicly today or tomorrow🤔.

@Amelia it takes roughly 2-4 minutes for arbor hardware to detect and fully filter a sophisticated ddos, I host some gameservers and the udp floods hit hard for a couple of minutes, probably different for tcp attacks, does Hetzner show logs or type of attacks? But yes indeed, you have to be quite a low life for that. In our case, eventservers for a 11 years old game get massively attacked, for no apparent reason, over the last 3 months🤔 .
