    @Humpleupagus @skylar @deprecated_ii yeah, i don't even turn the radios on unless i need it for something briefly ... everything wired, but still on 1 gig ... need to rebuild the network faster once i get a bigger NAS built.

    Standard Gig Ethernet, 1 Gbit/s
    10G Eth, 10Gbit, and significant infrastructure investment

    Given, you're never going to see those rates on wireless, but still, the numbers are interesting enough that i want to do some digging now anyhow..

    @cowanon @Humpleupagus @skylar @xuya @ForbiddenDreamer @aes31494 @justnormalkorean @zero asrock are kinda half assed all around, just check the reviews on the motherboard ya looking at, maybe google it's model along with 'fire' or 'catastrophic failure' just to be sure. i went through this same thing recently, ended up building with a MSI, not because i trust them, jsut because ive found the least bad about um recently... and it worked, but im not happy or confident about it

    @cowanon @Humpleupagus @skylar @xuya @ForbiddenDreamer @aes31494 @justnormalkorean @zero lol, okay, so the intel 13th and 14th gen processors were mismaufactured, and the substrate itself is 'rusting' for lack of a bbetter term, the processors are degrading and failing at an alarming rate, and intel is very hesitant to replace them, is why their stock is in the toilet, ASUS has had a very bad run lately with RMA scams, massive repair overcharges, and they usually dont even fix the problem, general scummy activity from management regarding it, etc, they ruined their rep.
