He doesn't play fetch. The ball belongs to him, it's his toy and he will generally make his own fun with it. This is the exception - when you're on a Zoom call. He will try to gain your attention by barking at you and throwing his ball for you to fetch. The only escape for you now is to give him a chase, or a play fight, or preferably both. Anything but a Zoom call with your colleagues!
