@helplessduck@isaacs@mentallyalex@UnFitz2@TazPoltorak@seldo I understand what you’re saying, but for me art is kind of amazingly zen. That whole trite one with the universe thing really does exist when you’re creating. I don’t think you’d feel the need to turn it off. It’s not an intrusive thing.(I bet you didn’t see that serious shit coming.?)
@hypolite@pixelfun Aww, so sorry about your friends loss. That’s such a difficult but necessary decision.? This bot response is such a prime example of why automated art #AI without good human oversight isn’t just bad for art it’s bad for humanity.
@jeffjarvis@vowe@shengokai@lorenzlm I found his analysis at odds w/ how M functions. If you attempt to use M like it’s T much of what he says holds. But that’s a mistake most people quickly get over. A screenshot & a pertinent word as a # is the equivelant of a QT
Community specific hashtags will promulgate naturally & bolster native narrative patterns including the call and response which isn’t reglegated solely to the Black community.
@lorenzlm@jeffjarvis@vowe@shengokai A screen shot with a hashtag and the person who’s post is being discussed provides the same access for your followers to access the conversation with one or two extra clicks. I’m sure they can manage that.
As to your straw man about what t is vs what m is, wasn’t discussed. The method one gets to a discussion is all that was pointed out. And that using tools ment for one application are inelegant at best
@lorenzlm@jeffjarvis@vowe@shengokai Since I’m most likely blocked by Lorenz I’ll respond to his post to me here. QTs don’t just go to your followers they also go to the person you’re quoting followers in @ replies. A screen shot by its nature with out the original posters functioning handle attached do specificly just go to your followers.
The one positive no matter how this matter resolves is that this community is built on respect.??
Art is the lie that tells the truth. Attributed to Picasso but known by all artists “Every blade of grass isn’t required to find the beauty in a meadow” I take forever & a day to vet , keep my follow list small so we can get to know each other & visit everyone that follows to find connections & humor but still may not follow back. I’d rather have strong connections & lots of kind acquaintances than just a giant pool of strangers . I swear like a longshoreman & block asshats #fedi22
