trump's outburst about pet-eating immigrants was not some off-the-cuff mistake. It is all part of the plan to demonize immigrants and Harris and scare the bejeezus out of trump supporters.

trump, his VP mate and his surrogates are pushing the CT even harder.

Laura Loomer, his close advisor, tweeted yesterday that
"Haitian immigrants aren’t just eating cats and dogs.
They eat HUMANS."

Then, these messages get amplified by the right-wing echo chamber.

The outburst about pet-eating immigrants was not some off-the-cuff mistake. Nothing in these debates is off-the-cuff. Every talking point is planned and rehearsed.

The CT about pet-eaters was cooked up by the same old right-wing influencers and was very likely timed for the debate. It was probably meant to be a highlight of the debate. It is part of their strategy to scare white voters.

A modest opinion on the debate last night -
It's not that Harris was better prepared than trump.
It's not that Harris baited trump with barbs and he fell for them.
It's not about the moderators and fact-checking.

What we saw was the true nature of these two people on display for all to see. One is a conman, a serial liar, who has insults and CTs but no plans, the other is an accomplished, honest, very normal and thoughtful, prosecutor and public servant.

It's terrifying that trump can make these very unpresidential and very unAmerican statements and about half the country is OK with it and the MSM keeps looking for nice things to say about him.

Let's do everything we can (donate, volunteer, talk, write, ...) to make sure that Kamala Harris is the next President.

Over at ActBlue, Democrats have raised over a billion dollars since July 21, when Kamala Harris announced her candidacy. The bulk of it is probably for the Kamala Harris campaign.

But let's keep in mind that the dark side has tons of dark money from the billionaire club. So, let's keep the momentum going and contribute esp. to down-ballot Democrats.
