My daughter has been dancing at the Stanford Shopping Mall this weekend to do a little preview of the Nutcracker.
Girls want to end the event with some Boba tea or frozen yogurt, so what was supposed to be an hour event tends to become a bit longer...

Just saw the news that Irene Cara passed away. I wouldn't say I was a fan, but "Fame" and "What A Feeling" definitely are still a very memorable part of my youth.

Just watched Enola Holmes with my family. Wow, Millie Bobby Brown starred and produced the movie. Very impressive. Very entertaining and empowering at the same time!
Louis Partridge is charming, Henry Cavill is dashing. Will watch part 2 this weekend!

@ocilam テック業界も派遣&契約エンジニアは凄く多いですし、事務部門も派遣スタッフ多いです。ただし、エンジニアの場合は比較的同一労働同一賃金なので、年収ベースではそれほど悪くなく、サービス業従事者のような貧困問題は生じないですが。

米国も最近は派遣や契約社員が多いから、FTEが正規身分でそれ以外より偉いという階層は発生しているんだよな。8時間働いていてもフルタイム社員と見なされないのも同じ。正否とか労働時間じゃなくて、直接雇用か間接雇用かの違いに過ぎないのだが。

In Japan, today is a holiday called "Labor Thanksgiving Day". Unsurprisingly where Labor and hard work are considered virtue and the word Karoshi (overwork to death) was generated, Musk 's ultimatum was positively embraced by many.
Going through being one of course slaves myself, I wonder if similar changes are happening among the younger generation.
