If #Trump had the power to end all elections he’d need the aid and assistance of many organizations of governance. A dictatorship requires sanction by an oligarchy. Despite his own hubris, Trump could not do it himself regardless of what fear-mongers tell you.

But if the US really has an oligarchic, even fascist, system (which I believe it does), then electing one Democrat won’t stop a dictatorship from happening. Electing Biden did not stop Trumpism in US policy. Electing #Harris won’t either.

I can choose to see a bump in fundraising as an unprecedented groundswell. Or I can choose to see it as a sign of Democrat desperation after #Biden gutted their reelection chances.

Will #KamalaHarris discontinue the memorandums of understanding #Biden used to supply #Israel with 500 lbs bombs that blow off the heads and limbs of women and children? If not, her heart doesn’t break enough.

#Biden set the bar so low by denying #Israel was killing #children that when #Harris utters the words “images of dead children” it gets spun as a heroic paradigm shift. Finally doing the right thing is not heroic.

It’s becoming obvious to me, given today’s smear of anti-#Netanyahu protesters, that #KamalaHarris has as little interest in attracting Arab-American voters as #Biden did. Unless she picks Whitmer, I’d say she’s writing off #Michigan to #Trump. It appears she learned nothing from the Michigan primary and the spring student protests.

#Democrats shouldn’t start acting like their nomination process is open and democratic. We see the superdelegates. We see the wealthy donors. We see the way the primaries were sandbagged.
