    @realcaseyrollins chip fabbing in particular has massive setup costs (in part because there's basically two companies that know how to do it) and the real issue is the secrecy of how to do it.

    what they actually need to do is get more companies doing it (such as publishing -how- to actually do it) and then tons of people will start trying to copy it.
