@kagan My most important achievement was getting sober after half a century of binge drinking my life away. Had a good job a great car a so so bf and my first retirement fund. 6 months into #covid I lost all that so ditched the sobriety too. Couldnt go on without my comfortably numb.

Unbelievably, I took a lyft from a guy that asked out of the blue if I knew anything about SOLDERING and he pronounced the L. I tried to correct him, that not only did he have the pleasure of having a NASA certified 'SAWDERER' in his car but I tried to correct his pronunciation and he continued to pronounce it SOLL DER and it was like an icepick in my ear. I finally throttled him with my handbag strap.

@thams I put my roommates family heirloom cast iron skillet on the stove to heat dry it after I washed it and completely forgot about it. I smelled it about an hour later; it was glowing hot and flaked off every bit of the black baked on for generations and was basically brand new. She looked at me like I ran over her dog and was trying to feed it to her.
Sometimes, 'oooops' will just not do.

Well let's hope so....
