@animeirl @thendrix So you agree that therapists are in some cases going far beyond their remit and fast-tracking kids to gender therapy, and that kids are being taught about gender from an inappropriately young age?
Why the fuck are we arguing then?

@Moon the point of being an artist, at least IMO, is to seek out things that don't exist yet. To make connections that have never been made before.
AI art can only give you a remix of things it's seen before. So it frees up artists from having to draw every permutation of the formulaic things that already exist and instead seek out something different.
IMO.

@bot @8b928bf75edb4ddffe2800557ffe7e5e2b07c5d5102f97d1955f921585938201 I hate how it always has to end "Well we respect each other's differences and we come to an acceptable agreement" or whatever

@BowsacNoodle @tyler @paula @Ottovonshitpost @Shadowman311 These scholastic traditions were already taking shape in ancient europe and the middle east. The Christians just had a more compelling God, one that could capture the loyalty of the lower classes. Where previous gods were personifications of natural and psychological forces, as likely to kill humans or drive them mad as to help them, and themselves vulnerable to other powerful Gods, He was singularly all-powerful, beyond comprehension, and, most importantly, he gave the right incentives. He gave the lowly hope, He was friendlier towards women than the Roman deities who were kinda rapey, and He promised that everyone had value.
Christianity, at least as practiced by our ancestors, was far more influenced by the europeans and hellenic middle-easterners than the reverse. We kind of took it on hollowed it out, and made it our own. It could have been any religion, honestly. Christianity is not unique.
