    @animeirl @alex Well for one, I misinterpreted him, I thought this was like some represented server info for the Soapbox backend.

    Second of all, No it's not. With JSON data, you read the whole file into buffer, or rather a javascript string, then you parse it. This is in fact how it works on. With SQLite, you open a file (tell the OS that you want to use it) and then read it. Look at the Chromium JSON parser (https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/base/+/refs/heads/main/json/json_parser.h) and confirm this, it's O(n) time for reading the data. Obviously, JSON wasn't made for this at all.

    With SQLite3, the file is opened, but it only reads out the pieces of information that it needs before leaving.
