    @1ammyb0dy I like the way a tiny little bow or embellishment looks sometimes, but I find it not practical...like the bows get wonky in the wash and then it doesn't look as nice as when it was fresh and crisp and new.

    I'm watching a documentary about a little girl named, Tracy Parks, who was one of the only few survivors of the Jonestown massacre. She and a handful of kids ran into the jungle just before everyone committed the mass suicide.

    She says she remembers looking around at all the adults and thinking "you can't seriously be okay with this."

    And it just made me think about how she was a little girl looking up to the adults around her to do the right thing. It made me think of the same dynamic with gender ideology.

    We're the adults in the situation and we cant drink the koolaid and fail the kids. They're looking up to us to do the right thing. I don't want to have to reconcile the children that will say "why didn't you protect us?"

    @ylem @Piss_Ant I saw something like this on FB the other day...there was a post saying that most people don't realize you can remove a panel and see all the stuff that gets trapped in the insulation space. They were like, before you ever throw or give away a dryer, open it up, because you might find a lot of money from pockets that got caught in there. But that's probably where the socks go.

    It's probably also good to do, cuz it looks like a fire hazard. Dryer fires are a thing.

    @susansiens @polarisera @ylem @Piss_Ant It's pretty much only socks for me. I don't think I've ever lost anything else. I've considered washing my socks all together with everything else in a garment or hosiery bag before, so there are no missing pairs.

    @ylem @Piss_Ant I just basically never go anywhere without my purse and keep everything in there. I do have a few articles of clothing with pockets, but I don't ever really use them.

    Most of my pants, probably like 90%, are leggings type with no pocket. I wear a lot of tunic/legging combos or like a dress with leggings and just carry my bag! 👛
