Posts like this from companies like Google always scare me. Mostly because they have nothing but disdain for past technology, which means the information it held is likewise also worthless to them. How long before Google deletes the archive?

Corporations have proven time and time again they cannot be trusted to act for the good of society, only investor returns.

We have the solution, but we need to elect people with the spine to fight for it.

It's called, "regulation". It's fading fast thanks to the influence of America's oligarchs, but our governments at various levels still exist specifically to rein in corporations and others who harm society.

When the topic is your use of your private jet to fly from a concert in Tokyo to Las Vegas to watch a football game in person, and how such jaunts contribute to the climate crisis, perhaps it may be best if one's spokesperson learned to just say nothing. "It's okay, she bought carbon credits" and, "she loans it out to friends" does not make Taylor a friend of the planet, you know?

Wow. When I tried to watch it, 'Love on the Spectrum' felt highly exploitative of disabled people and/or autistics, but this confirms it.

One of the stars was dropped because she dates primarily other neurodiverse people, finding that it's better for her. The show wants more drama and angst, so she's out. They'd rather focus on, "autistics with disabilities trying to date abled neurotypicals", and that's pretty gross.

Hrt for me was amazing specifically because it enabled my body to regulate serotonin for the first time since puberty. My first endo, now long retired, simply shrugged and said it seemed commonplace among trans people.

So many people in our community are afraid to admit that there may well be biological differences between cis and trans people; I don't understand why.

We would be in a position of strength if we organized.

I feel like ND people need a name for that feeling of being in between special interests. Then we could just say, "oh, I'm [neurodiverse terminology here] right now". The closest my spouse & have come is to echolalia-quote POTC ("I'm in the market, as it were"), but that only works between the two of us. We also need a descriptive name for ex-special interests that even NT people will grasp immediately ("why don't you do xyz anymore? You really seemed to enjoy it!").

I think that for me the pinnacle of how bad offices could get was when companies were willing to pay $5,000 usd to $10,000 for "privacy / phone call / two person conference" pods rather than admit open floor plan was an absolute ergonomic failure.

A functional Congress could pass climate crisis aware worker protection laws.

We need a functional Congress. But to get one, we have to figure out how to undo / overcome the rampant gerrymandering & vote suppression in republican held states.
