@RodneyPetersonTalent@aral EviCor IS evil. Made my life hellish for 6 months, 7 ER trips all for denying MRI 3 times for my back. I needed it for referral to orthopedic surgeon. 4th time I finally got it. My copay was $200. The cash price was $400. Couldn’t pay cash if you have insurance.
Pretty happy to be able to spend an hour today editing some of the my alley photos from Flagstaff in June. This one was a challenge and a favorite. Decorative tiles in an alley? #Flagstaff#FlagstaffAZ#Alley#Wall
@timo21@ThomHartmann@_L1vY_ Glad to see this information because I had no idea I’d have to get a copy of my marriage certificate! Birth certificate too for me. This will be time-consuming and expensive. I’d think it should be the case for women not to be penalized where men are not. Thus a request for birth certificate no charge should be the standard when it’s only for a Real ID.
Sooo Harris and Walz are in the Valley and right now are at the rally just 1 1/2 miles from our home! The security is far tighter than I’ve seen before here. There were a number of streets closed off downtown since last night. The motorcade left downtown and drove to Glendale - Desert Diamond Arena. It reached capacity before 3 pm. No exact time for the rally. Massive car traffic in this area! I live here but am in the dark like everyone as to what is happening. #HarrisWalz#HarrisWalz2024
@BeAware that part about how we rush to ER about 6-7 times a year is when some people notice our family is “different”. Until my son started using a wheelchair 4 years ago he looked small and very young for his age. Unfortunately 4 years ago he was also diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s and dementia unknown type. Talk about not catching a break!
@kurtsh It was very impressive! But I had to laugh at first because the video was frozen to start as it looked like he was going to iron something on the very large ironing board.
An endeavor begun here: over 2 years and maybe 4-5 years I’ve neglected my outdoor plants so worked on dividing to replant those that can be saved. I found in Arizona that an aloe plant can survive almost anything, just a bit of water every month or so. About 20 pots of succulents are now residing with my hopeful supportive vibes, under the lime tree. Watering every morning early. We’ll see. #Aloe#Succulents
@verdantsquare@bmacDonald94 This interview is excellent. Read to understand the Hindu Right: “And so, the West has chosen to look the other way while this incredible sort of violence has been unfolding in India. And Roy has been at the forefront of this, speaking out. And that’s one of the reasons the Hindu right particularly detest her, because she’s articulate, and she’s fearless, and she represents a kind of spirit of freedom and imagination. And that is what they’re against.”
FYI when I see a story like this and note the article is on a site with a paywall, I do a search online and usually find the same article on a restriction-free site, in this case PetaPixel. I knew Wapo, and LATimes and NYTimes would all be paywalled.
Serious question: with so many people having had a family member or someone they know with dementia, why is it that MAGA and Republicans can't seem to recognize it when their leader has daily and frequent classic symptoms?
As my son progresses (declines) with both Alzheimer's & Mixed Dementia, we see behaviors, mannerisms, posture, mobility and speech characteristics that are just like we see in Trump in both photos, video and transcripts of speeches. Curious and very sad but also dangerous.
So it is looking like folks replying so far believe that they DO know Trump is displaying signs of dementia but they will never mention it because "his policy people" will do the work that the MAGA want done. It would then be like electing someone who is always a puppet and will end up needed to be out of public view. Thinking of when Reagan started his dementia in office and then of Woodrow Wilson's year and a half in office following a massive stroke where he could not do business.
@dbaplanb What a horrid situation! It sometimes happens we can't get another caregiver to help out so John and I do 12 hour shifts those days. It may not sound like much but for this type of caregiving, anything over 4 hours starts to be a real strain. Full-time care is WORK. And I too would rather never hear anyone tell me that I should take care of myself too.
You are really alone in so much of this. Thinking of you.
