@creamqueen@Horns@Prude@alex@Riamu@bot there are things he could do better in my opinion, like rocking stubble, lifting, or not being so permissive of people allowing himself to be surrounded with schizo weirdos, but he doesn't need to do any of those things because he's got a path in life and he's driven unlike most of you retards
@Horns@Prude@alex@Riamu@bot you're full of shit lol. how did they get your info? from beefyboys? how were you contacting riamu multiple times per week, from jail? how did you get your local community to petition the sheriff? why can't you elaborate on what you said that got you jailed? was this even on fedi? it makes more sense if it was on discord otherwise prude probably would have known his server got subpoenad for information.
@alex >how do you even find this stuff thinking about it more I have friends I bounce ideas/thoughts off of and you learn about cool shit through word of mouth. @roboneko and I ate constantly talking tech in DMs although I only understand like half of what he talks to me about because I'm too dumb. my best friend is a goog engineer and we talk about tech stacks a lot. that and I scroll the top posts monthly on reddit, places like /r/rust will usually get project announcements
@alex my implementation is nicer imo. if I go into the db and add a row to the followers table for example (which is just a mapping of follower_id and followed_id uuids) it sends out an activity using a trigger
@alex arangodb probably if you want to use json blobs, but there's also surrealdb which just came out. activities are just redux-like actions though that define state changes so what I'm doing is just ingesting them and making changes to the db relational data.
@alex the json crap is honestly mind blowing. idk why postgres was chosen. it looks like that index function is checking both ids and arrays of ids? what happens if there's something else in there like a date or boolean
