There is literally no reason when you're applying for jobs, freelance, or contracts why the application needs to include your real address (unless you're getting hired).

If they require one, put your local UPS store or mail center, or get a virtual PO Box, no need to give them your home address, unless you are actually hired by the company.

Additionally, use a Google Voice number or VOIP number and forward it to your phone.

Set up an email address for your job search, so you can keep track of your applications.

This is about protecting some of your data & privacy, esp from companies who will sell your data, even as an applicant (oh yes, they do).
