Seattle Pilots were in existence for an entire season, and played their opening series in 1969 against the California Angels at the Big A in Anaheim.
Pilots' field, Sicks Stadium, was home to the AAA affiliate of the California Angels from 1965 to 1968. Of course, they were called the Seattle Angels.
Seattle Mariners hosted the California Angels in their opening series as well, and the 1977 season began at the Kingdome in Seattle.
