not with a single person, that's for sure. he's too good at too many things. it will take not one but several collectives to fill all those shoes. we've been working at that for decades. the notion of sister FSFs has been an effort to that end. it seems to have gathered and formed some regional references. the original FSF is in good hands. but Richard's most incredible talent, namely that of herding volunteer cats towards making a freedom-respecting operating system, dealing with all the conflicting interests that arise... that will IMHO forever be the shoe that will be hardest to fill
