One day he pretty much disappeared and abandoned his creative work and all his friends and family because he met a "nice Christian girl" who convinced him to do so. He was absorbed into the Church, essentially. ("Washed in the blood of the lamb" and so on.) So some guys really ARE looking for that total change of life, I suppose. But I doubt it's very many of 'em.
