@slash quickpar is your friend. its prevalent on usenet due to unreliable federation, but it lets you generate erasure codes. you can bloat the size of your media by say 10% and in exchange as long as less than 10% of *any* of that bundle is lost to bitrot, the erasure codes will save it.
