@vozercozer I can sympathize with this. I'm a Kentuckistani, and a lot of the reputation of this part of the country is well deserved... but at the same time, I watched how people responded after the flooding in 2022. I had neighbors hauling a generator down to my house to help pump out my basement, and helping me get my car back after I had to leave it on high ground. Maybe the generalizations are the problem, and that people as individuals are as loving and caring as they ever really were.
