i think josh and a lot of other "internet personalities" underestimate how impactful gamergate really was. it showed a whole lot of people that media will just openly lie about the most trivial bullshit imaginable, and it just kept spreading and spreading. these lying gutter vermin being taken at their word by the new york times and washington post and earning appointments with the UN of all places.

the smarter ones in that sphere realized how narratives are controlled by nepotistic media jews to keep the wider populace in a trance. then, they applied what was learned to everything they were ever told about the world growing up. pounding a crack in the greater western mythos is the real consequence of gamergate, and now we can see the fissures growing in real time.
