The Blue Bassist :verified:I think the problem with Twitter for me was always that people talk about belonging to communities on Twitter. That's not something I've ever had. I've been on the platform since 2008 and just never fell into a group. I lurk because people attack each other too readily. Honestly, I haven't felt like part of an online "community" since I was active on IRC 15 years ago. While I don't feel a big difference yet on Mastodon, it has more potential than I expected.
