I'm a 'salt and pepper' guy, I'm told I always over-salt things. But as an adult, I have no need of advice on how much salt is enough... And as for pepper, on the rare occasions when we get some really fresh peppercorns I do use less, but most peppercorns available have been sitting long enough they lose some of the taste.
