google has implemented optional digital handcuffs for screenshots, but in this case they don't try to use the DMCA to stop people from removing that antifeature - but if you do, you'll trip "played restrict" and a lot of proprietary software will refuse to run (a feature).

Sadly the empire is nowhere near collapse, as it keeps on finding more and more hosts that are willing to run whatever proprietary software that doesn't even serve a practical purpose unquestionably.
