BeAware :fediverse:@thefrankring it's a protocol like ActivityPub. Therefore it can do many things, but most use it like Mastodon. The biggest difference is that you own your own profile through the use of a "private key" that you're assigned when you sign up. Therefore, you can't really be "banned" or have your account deleted. It's pretty neat.
