Lauren Weinstein@ernie @dangillmor Apple has always made overpriced hardware with a "we're so much better than everyone else so you'll even buy our $100 cables when $10 cables would work just as well you fools!" attitude. In many ways they're still the corporate equivalent of Steve Jobs parking in the handicapped space because he just felt he was so much better than everyone else because they have the most raucous fanboys. Similar to Elon's fans in some ways. Bah on both.
